RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions.
- Expertly handle all government filings related to sales tax.
- Maintain complete and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
- Reconcile bank accounts and perform account analysis to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
- Work closely with the management team to develop and implement financial strategies.
- Manage inventory through accurate record-keeping and reporting.
- Liaise with external auditors and assist with year-end audits.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Comprehensive understanding and proficiency in QuickBooks, Shopify, and other relevant applications used within the organization.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be proactive and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
