RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions.
Expertly handle all government filings related to sales tax.
Maintain complete and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
Reconcile bank accounts and perform account analysis to ensure accuracy.
Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
Work closely with the management team to develop and implement financial strategies.
Manage inventory through accurate record-keeping and reporting.
Liaise with external auditors and assist with year-end audits.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Comprehensive understanding and proficiency in QuickBooks, Shopify, and other relevant applications used within the organization.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be proactive and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
