Job Description:
We are seeking a Full-Time Bookkeeper to join our team in Markham, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in Mandarin is required to support our diverse client base.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review.
• Monitor budgets and cash flow to ensure financial health.
• Manage tax filings and ensure compliance with Canadian regulations.
• Support internal audits and provide documentation as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members in Mandarin and English.
Qualifications:
• Fluency in Mandarin (both written and spoken) is required.
• At least 1 year of bookkeeping experience in Canada.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and Canadian financial regulations.
• Proficiency in bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Must be a fast learner with a proactive attitude.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
