Accounts Payable Administrator Position
Novlan Bros. Sales is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator for our Paradise Hill location. The successful candidate will have either, or a combination of, 2 years direct experience in Accounts Payable or a Diploma/Degree in Accounting functions; expected to be a confident team player who is able to manage both deadlines and high-volume duties.
Accounts Payable Administrator Responsibilities:
· Enter selected invoices for accounts payable with accurate allocations between divisions and departments.
· Prepare accounts payable cheques/electronic payments with proper approval.
· Review accounts payable reporting and ensure timely payment of invoices.
· Assist vendors and customers with queries related to accounts.
· Process federal and provincial government remittances.
· Monitor and reconcile clearing accounts.
· Assists with accounts receivable and special projects, as required.
· Answer phone calls, take customer payments and balance cash in the Receptionist’s absence.
· Perform other tasks upon management’s requests.
· Motivating and inspiring staff and facilitating personal growth.
· Ensuring high levels of productivity are maintained.
· Ensuring the highest levels of quality are met.
· Continuing training and seminars for continued skills improvement.
· Ensuring adherence to company and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience with accounts payable or equivalent education in accounting.
· Excellent communication skills with customers, vendors, management and co-workers.
· Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet tight deadlines.
· Proficient in Excel and Word and strong ability to learn new Accounting software programs.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Results driven.
· Mathematical aptitude.
· Self-motivated and confident.
· Highly organized and diligent.
· Exceptional interpersonal skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication.
· Successful candidate must either reside in the Paradise Hill location or be able to commute daily. This is position does not have the option to work remotely.
