The Job: TKLL is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper who loves working with founders and entrepreneurs, the newest technologies, supportive team members, and has goals of growing their career as an Accountant. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles.
Some Responsibilities:
- Comfort and knowledge with online platforms and solutions such as QBO, Xero, HubDoc, etc.
- Engaging with and managing multiple clients and internal team members' tasks and priorities.
- Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Manage invoicing and billing processes.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to support overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
