Role Description
In this role, you will be reporting to the Controller and responsible for assisting in the process of Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations, Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) as well as Payroll. This is a permanent General Accountant position.
What you get to do every single day:
- Manage accounts receivable
- Manage accounts payable including invoice booking and matching with PO receipts
- Review and process reimbursements
- Intercompany account reconciliations
- Prepare, track, and reconcile ledgers and budgets to ensure accuracy
- Assist in biweekly payroll process accurately and in a timely manner
- Contractors' payment processing in MS Dynamics GP software
- Conduct account analysis to identify and correct miscalculations and financial discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
- Assist in corporate finance activities such as budgeting and forecasting, monthly closing and reporting
- Assist with GST/HST filing and payroll taxes
- Assist with month-end, year-end transactions
- Collaborate with finance team on various projects
- Develop and streamline operational efficiencies
- Other standard bookkeeping tasks
Requirements
- AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
- Ability to manage multi-company accounting
- Ability to work with multi-currency transactions
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Familiar with Spreadsheet and ERP system
- Outstanding data entry skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
