Role Description

In this role, you will be reporting to the Controller and responsible for assisting in the process of Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations, Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) as well as Payroll. This is a permanent General Accountant position.

What you get to do every single day:

Manage accounts receivable
Manage accounts payable including invoice booking and matching with PO receipts
Review and process reimbursements
Intercompany account reconciliations
Prepare, track, and reconcile ledgers and budgets to ensure accuracy
Assist in biweekly payroll process accurately and in a timely manner
Contractors' payment processing in MS Dynamics GP software
Conduct account analysis to identify and correct miscalculations and financial discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
Assist in corporate finance activities such as budgeting and forecasting, monthly closing and reporting
Assist with GST/HST filing and payroll taxes
Assist with month-end, year-end transactions
Collaborate with finance team on various projects
Develop and streamline operational efficiencies
Other standard bookkeeping tasks

Requirements

- AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred

- Ability to manage multi-company accounting

- Ability to work with multi-currency transactions

- Ability to multitask effectively

- Familiar with Spreadsheet and ERP system

- Outstanding data entry skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
