Central Hardware is a large building supply store, located in Enderby, B. C. We service the North Okanagan, Shuswap areas of B. C. We are searching for an outgoing, dependable, and experienced Accounting Support Person to handle our day-to-day bookkeeping, financial reporting, and administration duties as well as other duties as requested.

Reports to: Office Manager
JOB SUMMARY The Accounting Support Position, will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative and financial reporting requirements, this includes bookkeeping responsibilities, and other administrative functions as assigned.
KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Payroll
- Bank account & credit card reconciliations
- WCB Administrator
- Various remittances (GST, PST, Payroll Deductions)
- Capital Asset Tracking
- Other office duties as assigned
- Month End entries and account reconciliations
- Support all administrative requirements on a day-to-day basis.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years of relevant experience a medium size business in a bookkeeping or accounting assistant role is required.
- 5 years' experience in a large retail business
- Familiar with general office procedures
- Microsoft Office and willing to learn specialized software for our industry (Silk)
- Must be detail-oriented, able to handle multiple tasks, have strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Education:
