What you’ll do:
Reporting into the Head of Finance, this role handles full-cycle bookkeeping and provides reflective financial statements and thoughtful analysis for Redstone. The objectives are to keep accurate records of company finances and monitor financial health and compliance. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial deliverables are met for internal stakeholders and ensures critical tasks that outline a clear picture of the organization’s finances are recorded and timely.
How you’ll do it:
Full Cycle Bookkeeping

Process Redstone’s' accounts payable, ensuring invoices are accurately recorded and paid in a timely manner.
- Handle accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, tracking payments, and following up to ensure collection of funds.
- Proactively monitor and consider cash-flow on a daily basis, appropriately recommending solutions where necessary.
- Book all revenues and expenses accurately, maintaining comprehensive financial records.
- Prepare user-friendly, detailed monthly financial statements for internal stakeholders, facilitating decision-making and financial planning.
- Complete monthly bank, credit card, and revenue reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Deposit cheques at banking institutions and ensure company financial mail is handled in a timely fashion.
- Assist year-end closing procedures, including preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual remittances such as EHT, Income Tax, CPP, EI, Corporate Taxes, etc.
Administration & Reporting

Communicate with the Senior Leadership Team to provide financial updates, reports on spending, revenue, etc., in a way that is understood by varying financial backgrounds.
- Assist with the preparation of the annual budget, providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic planning initiatives.
- Update signing authorities with banks and government bodies.
- Provide support for audit and review engagements, including preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Manage of company credit cards and ensure cash flow before usage.
- Support Redstone banking – retrieving statements, bank questions (ex. Swift Code, amounts hitting the account, etc.).
- Identify areas for process improvement, including new software, systems, or policies to make Redstone’s bookkeeping more efficient.
You’ll thrive in this role if:

You have a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- You have 3-5+ years of relevant, full cycle bookkeeping experience.
Serious bonus points if:

You have experience providing bookkeeping services at an association management company or agency.
- You have a Professional Bookkeeper Designation, QuickBooks Certification, or similar.
Compensation:
$73,000 - $85,719.62 base salary based on experience.
