Job Description:
We are a construction company specialize in low rise residential carpentry project. We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive individual to fill the role of Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper. This position will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing financial records, and coordinating projects with our project managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize files, records, and documents.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable/receivable.
- Generate financial reports and summaries as required.
- Coordinate with vendors, clients, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle any other administrative, bookkeeping, and project coordination duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant, bookkeeper, and project coordinator.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Past experience as an bookkeeper in construction industry is an asset.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration, bookkeeping, or project management are a plus.
- Fluent in English/Mandarin/Cantonese
