Position Title: Senior HCM and Payroll Functional Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sr. HCM & Payroll Functional Analyst.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Works closely with the business process leads and end users to understand project and enhancement requirements,
· Works with other functional team members, as well as with the development team in design, build, and implementation of functionality to satisfy business requirements.
· Work with the Solution architect to ensure that the specific functionality compliments the overall technical vision for a particular solution.
· Manage application design according to the business processes and requirements.
· Create functional specifications and assist with technical specification.
· Work with the Technical / Development team to deliver functional system enhancements.
· Work with internal application security team to ensure that correct application access roles and permissions are created and maintained.
· Create or provide input for the creation of required training materials as needed.
· Act as liaison with internal clients for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems for production incidents.
· Configure application functionality for any requirement/enhancement.
· Document and execute Unit Testing and System Integration testing.
· Coordinate with the QA Lead and QA Team to ensure appropriate QA testing.
· Collaborate with other internal IT departments to ensure optimal work processes are followed.
· Provide support and expertise after go-live of the initial rollout projects.
· Ensure current-day best-practices are followed for the application and or underlying infrastructure (Servers, Databases, security etc.)
· Comply with Application and IS change management processes and expediate changes as needed for high priority issues.
· Work closely and productively with application support/implementation vendor for day-to-day work or any other work.
· Participate in Internal, Customer and Regulatory Audits if required.
· Preparing documentation and training materials as needed
· Strong multitasking skills with ability to manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 5 to 10 years’ experience with configuration in HCM & Payroll functional area
· University Degree in Computer Science or related area from an accredited institution.
· Demonstrate a in a high-demanding environment, where managing multiple priorities, resolving issues promptly, and meeting challenging timelines in a fast-paced work setting are essential aspects of the role.
· Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on their feet to address urgent payroll-related issues efficiently.
· Strong decision making, analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
· Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
· Construction industry experience is an asset.
· Proficient with Microsoft suite products
· Demonstrated ability to perform business impact assessments and troubleshoot complex integration issues.
· Demonstrated ability to provide timely services to customers to maintain high satisfaction levels.
· Demonstrated experience in gathering business requirements.
· Helping educate end users on alternatives for system configuration and design.
· Supporting clients through decision making and process design
· Ensuring deliverables are completed within deadlines.
· Ensuring the quality of deliverables meet expectations.
· Acting as a subject matter expert on project
REQUIREMENTS:
SAP HCM (Human Capital management)
· The role requires expertise in SAP Payroll, Time Management, Benefits, and interface building experiences. Hands on experience in these areas, preferably with at least 2 end-to-end implementation and support projects.
· Demonstrates a deep understanding of Canadian payroll Tax rules and regulations to ensure accurate payroll processing.
· Configure and customize PCRs within the SAP system to meet specific Canadian payroll requirements, such as deductions, taxes, and benefits calculations.
