Bachly Construction is currently seeking a full-time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant for our Bolton office.
The successful candidate will perform daily reception and administrative functions in a professional manner, while providing the highest quality of customer service.
This position will be based out of our main office at 27 Nixon Road.
The hours of work are Monday – Friday from 9:00am- 5:00pm.
THE POSITION
- Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional and welcoming manner
- Set up new insurance claims in PSA, Encircle, and internal drive
- Collect carpenters time sheets bi-weekly to assist payroll
- Assist with accounting administration of receivables and payables (printing, sorting, file organization)
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier shipments
- Maintain office supply storage area in a neat, orderly fashion and re-stock when necessary
- Proficient administration of all clerical duties including typing, filing etc.
- General administrative duties as requested by the Office Manager
THE REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work independently and take directions from others
- Outgoing and friendly personality
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- The ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic with an attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
- Experience with Sage 100 and basic accounting considered an asset
