About the job
The role focuses on the organization’s operating businesses located in Orillia – Orillia Aviation, Orillia Rama Regional Airport and Perfect Landing Bar & Grill. It offers bookkeeping, administrative and payroll support to the Head office in Milton.
Job responsibilities:
· Responsible for full-cycle accounting and cash management of the operating companies.
· Record expenses, book payables and process cheque run, ensuring all are current.
· Generate invoices and co-ordinate fund transfers.
· Closely work with the restaurant manager ensuring proper recording of daily sales.
· Responsible for completing monthly bank reconciliations and GST/HST return.
· Assist in providing analysis and payroll data for the executives for use in reporting, forecasting, budgeting and invoicing.
· Administrative support and clerical duties such as answering phone, scanning documents, data input, receiving and sorting mails and typing letters and memos
· Provide weekly accounts receiving aging report to the management regarding the receiving status of the Airport’s rent receivables and corresponds with clients having long overdue and delinquent balances
Qualifications
· Background in Accounting is a must.
· Experience in working with QuickBooks Online is an asset.
· Previous restaurant bookkeeper is preferred.
