Main Duties:
- Utilize QuickBooks to improve operational efficiency
- Maintain accounting records using QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise
- Maintain and update the database for vendors, staff, and customer records on QuickBooks
- Responsible for full cycle account receivable including collection & customer reconciliation
- Review and work to improve accounting procedures and database management
- Train new hires on all aspects of QuickBooks
- Update daily and monthly reports & distribute to management
- Create invoices for all accounts
- Responsible for full cycle accounts payable
- Enter bills, vendor reconciliation and payments in QuickBooks
- Enter customer receipts in QuickBooks
Requirements
- Great knowledge and understanding of QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise
- Fantastic MS Office and computer skills
- Knowledge of accepted accounting rules, practices, tax laws, and reporting requirements
- Knowledge of accounting systems, budgets, and internal controls
- High level of integrity and excellent work ethic
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Accounts receivable and payable: 1 year (preferred)
- QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise: 1 year (required)
