Job Summary: In this role reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, you will work with the finance team to process and review accounts payable.
What you will do in this role…
- Validate and process vendor invoices into the ERP system
- Process payments to vendors on a timely manner
- Validate and process expense reports with the required back-up
- Issue purchase order, match purchase orders to vendor invoices as required
- Process journal entries and GL account reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Participate in month-end and year-end functions
- Analyze and resolve any payment related issues with the vendors
- Sort mail, monitor emails and respond on a regular basis
- Complete vendor forms, review vendor agreements and update the system with vendor terms
- Meet weekly and monthly deadlines
- Perform expense analysis as required
- Support reporting manager on various projects
- Various ad hoc office and other responsibilities

Your experience and requirements include…
- Diploma in Accounting
- Knowledge of general accounting principles
- Minimum 1-2 years of related work experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel Proficiency is a must
