Job Summary: In this role reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, you will work with the finance team to process and review accounts payable.

What you will do in this role…

Validate and process vendor invoices into the ERP system
Process payments to vendors on a timely manner
Validate and process expense reports with the required back-up
Issue purchase order, match purchase orders to vendor invoices as required
Process journal entries and GL account reconciliations on a monthly basis
Participate in month-end and year-end functions
Analyze and resolve any payment related issues with the vendors
Sort mail, monitor emails and respond on a regular basis
Complete vendor forms, review vendor agreements and update the system with vendor terms
Meet weekly and monthly deadlines
Perform expense analysis as required
Support reporting manager on various projects
Various ad hoc office and other responsibilities

Your experience and requirements include…

Diploma in Accounting
Knowledge of general accounting principles
Minimum 1-2 years of related work experience
Intermediate Microsoft Excel Proficiency is a must
