Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll/A/P Coordinator to join our team. As a Payroll/A/P Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees, as well as invoice processing and payments for vendors. This is a vital role within our organization, as you will play a key part in:
- maintaining employee satisfaction and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations.

Duties:
- Process payroll for employees using Ceridian
- Collect and review timesheets, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Calculate and process employee wages, deductions, and adjustments
- Prepare and distribute direct deposits to employees
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors
- Reconcile payroll with job costing system in Procontractor
- Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leave balances, and other relevant information
- Enroll employees in company pension and benefit programs
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data i
- Assist with the preparation of payroll reports for management or regulatory purposes
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and ensure compliance
- Process vendor invoices and payments into Procontractor
- Maintain vendor master data
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Payroll and A/P
- Strong knowledge of payroll and A/P processes and procedures
- Proficiency in using payroll software/systems such as Ceridian
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations
- Strong analytical skills to analyze payroll data and identify discrepancies or errors
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes is a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees regarding payroll inquiries
