Current Opening:
We are seeking a talented professional to join our cohesive team of clinicians and staff in our North Nanaimo offices in a front desk secretarial and administrative role.
Qualifications:
Applicants will be required to complete a wide range of office functions with a high degree of accuracy while maintaining positive relationships with our clientele and referral partners. Applicants must be able to demonstrate professionalism and integrity in the workplace as well as possess the following attributes:
- Reliable, self-motivated and able to work as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence in a Windows PC environment and strong Microsoft Office skills including Word & Excel
- A desire to learn and develop and help shape a growing organization with multiple offices
- Education in bookkeeping OR experience in accounts receivable (will train)
Additional Assets:
- Experience with clinic management software and/or experience bookkeeping in a clinical setting
Main Job Duties:
- Apply charges for sessions and services in clinic management software
- Generate and submit invoices, paying close attention to the requirements of various partner organizations
- Receive and post payments with accuracy
- Utilize numerous partner databases to upload invoices and reports
- Edit and submit confidential reports along with accompanying invoices
- Act as a resource to team members, sharing knowledge of billing and report requirements for various programs
- Manage accounts receivable and resubmit outstanding invoices
- Assist Bookkeeper with various tasks as needed
