Primary Role and Responsibilities
The primary role of this 12-month contract position is to administratively support the reimbursement team, patient care coordinators, and management. It is an in-office role in our Liberty Village office. The Office Administrator will be crucial to assist many parts of the organization and will influence the level of service we are able to provide. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting patients by phone/email and extending rentals
- Assist Patient Care Coordinator in product/patient care (Game Ready)
- Coordinate coverage by contacting insurance and benefits companies
- Incoming Referral entry
- Reprocessing Rental devices
- Coordinate and accept payment
- Work with clinics (doctor offices / admin) for any additionally required information
- Assisting accounts payable
- Mail clerk
Required skills
The Office Administrator must have strong written and verbal English communication skills to work with patients, clinics, and insurers. Written and verbal French is a strong asset. The candidate should be an independent thinker with good problem solving abilities. The Office Administrator is to be well versed in their company’s products, procedures and regulations in order to deliver exceptional patient care. They must deal with customers in a patient, professional and friendly manner. No medical administration experience is required, but may be an asset.
