Position: Finance Coordinator
Reports to: Finance Manager
Terms: Permanent Full-Time

We are currently seeking an organized and detail-oriented Finance Coordinator to join our team. You will provide support to our Finance Manager, assisting with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank and credit card reconciliations. You will also play a key role in maintaining company files, assisting with the invoicing process, and creating purchase orders and cheque requisitions.
General Responsibilities:
· Processing account payable and handling inquiries
· Assisting with bank and credit card reconciliations
· Providing administrative support to the company, including maintaining company files, assisting with the invoicing process and creating purchase orders and cheque requisitions
· Assist in the annual budget process
· Maintain an accurate, ongoing record of all donations to the society and send acknowledgements
· Prepare, post and deliver bank deposits
· Maintenance of funding contracts and assisting with reporting
· Assist with payroll by collecting and organizing timesheets, leave request forms and sign-in sheets
· Ensure implementation and compliance of financial policies and procedures
· Assist with audit preparation and audit requests
· Assist the finance manager in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports for funders and board of directors.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Good computer working knowledge utilizing accounting and financial software
· Experience working with Xyntax accounting software an asset
· Ability to deal with a high volume of work with efficiency and attention to detail
· Strong problem-solving skills
· Ability to work and communicate with varying levels of our Society and external agencies in an efficient and professional manner
· Interpersonal skills – courteous, flexible, cooperative and concerned with being helpful
· Effective work skills – diligent, maintain confidentiality, resourceful and productive
· Experience with financial audit requirements
Other Qualifications & Education Required:
· Post secondary education with a business and/or finance focus
· 2-4 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
· Criminal records check required
