Accounting & Office Administrator
Department: Accounting
Reports to: Supervisor, Finance
Duties:
- Provides accounting and clerical assistance to the accounting department
- Create monthly expense reports and enter into accounting system monthly
- Reconciles vendor accounts and credit card statements
- Enters financial transactions in an accounting system on a daily basis
- Responsible for maintaining A/P and A/R email inbox correspondence
- Provide assistance and support to management regarding financial records and costs
- Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
- Provide support to Project Coordinators
- Work with IT provider regarding set up and acts as liaison for technology issues for both office and field staff
- Works closely with Finance, Management, Project Coordinators, Field Staff and external vendors/suppliers on a daily basis
Education/Experience:
- Completion of Accounting or Office Administration program, and/or a minimum of 2 years equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in MS Office and Excel
- Proficiency in QuickBooks an asset
