Job Title: Manager, Finance – Private Equity
About the Role:
Join the Finance and Operations team within a dynamic Private Equity group, where you’ll play a critical role in fund operations and private reporting requirements. This team is responsible for public and private financial reporting, treasury management, and fund operations. Reporting to the Director, Finance, the Manager, Finance will oversee fund operations and address private reporting needs for the group.
Key Responsibilities:
As Manager, Finance, you will:
- Quarterly Reporting: Review quarterly financial statements under US GAAP, manage fund and investment performance tracking, and oversee public reporting templates prepared in accordance with IFRS.
- Investor Relations: Manage quarterly investor PCAP schedules, available commitment schedules, and assist with investor queries.
- Senior Management Reporting: Present quarterly results and performance updates to senior leadership.
- Valuations & Compliance: Review fund investment valuations quarterly, manage capital calls and investor distributions, and ensure compliance with complex legal fund structures.
- Audit and Control: Prepare and review internal and external audit requests, maintain control documentation, and ensure high-quality output from service providers.
- Process Improvement & Leadership: Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and actively mentor team members.
- Special Projects: Support the team with ad hoc projects and complex accounting analyses as required.
Qualifications:
- Education & Designation: University degree and a professional accounting designation (CPA/CA preferred).
- Experience: A minimum of five years in finance or accounting, with exposure to private funds and complex ownership structures being a strong asset.

- Proficient in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
