Part time Bookkeeper (25-001)

Position Title: In Person Part Time Bookkeeper

Type of Employment: 16 – 24 Hours a week flex hour between Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm

We are currently seeking a part-time Bookkeeper to assist with day-to-day operations with Total Aviation & Airport Solutions at the Oshawa Executive Airport. The role requires the ability to adapt and will include a variety of tasks including (but not limited to): bookkeeping, answering calls, and liaising with customers and vendors. The Part-time Bookkeeper will report to the Office Administrator.

Our ideal candidate is organized, thrives on detail, able to manage their time, able to take direction or take the lead when required and works well in a team environment.

Core Responsibilities

Bookkeeping, including but not limited to: accounts receivable, accounts payable

General administrative support to the Total Aviation & Airport Solutions team;
Prepare various reports as required;
Maintain multiple databases and produce statistical reports as required;
Process incoming invoices for payment;
Input invoices for payments to be received;

Skills/Experience/Training Required:

Proficient in QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook,)
Able to prioritize with the flexibility to manage workload demands and multiple tasks
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work in team situations with both internal and external personnel
A preference to a Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma or certificate – preferably in Business Administration with experience in bookkeeping / accounting software
