We are a dynamic Construction Company with several branches looking to fill a Full Time position in Accounts Receivables & Collections.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of AR including invoicing, sending statements and overdue reminders, responding to customer inquiries and all processes related to collections. We require someone who can thrive in a fast-paced, high volume environment and is self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented.

The individual must be assertive, outgoing and energetic with a professional demeanor and must also possess the ability to provide excellent customer service to our many clients and associates as well as to the other staff within our organization.

Responsibilities:

Developing and maintaining relationships with our customers at all branches
Delivering a high standard of customer service
Reconciling client accounts, identifying problems and solving payment issues
Conducting effective and timely collection strategies
Maintaining detailed notes on all customer contact including follow-up phone calls
Creating payment schedules on outstanding invoices when appropriate
Determining and documenting reasons for late or short payments
Reporting/updating management on a regular basis
Communicating effectively with all levels of the company
Assisting with front office operations when required.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar position with relevant Diploma/Certificate
Intermediate to Advanced Quickbooks experience
Proven experience in Accounts Receivables, Billing and Collections
Proficiency with Word/Excel and able to learn company software program quickly
Must be detail-oriented with a high degree of data entry accuracy
Must have strong analytical, organizational and time-management skills
Must have solid communication skills, verbal and written
Must have excellent interpersonal skills
Vehicle mandatory as some travel within the Lower Mainland is required.
