Inside Sales
The Position
Seaboard Industrial Supply Company Limited is looking for a self- motivated and experienced Inside Sales Position. Responsible for providing superior customer service to customers over the phone or in person, the position includes assessing customer needs promptly and efficiently, making product recommendations, providing accurate information regarding the product details, taking sales orders and ensuring that delivery times and information are recorded accuratelyd to ensure we exceed customer expectations.
Responsibilities:

Responsible for completing the order process which includes offering pricing terms according to established margins; sourcing of additional products; and generating sales orders
Sending tracking to customer and providing status updates
Enter quotations and orders into the system with accuracy in a timely manner
Provide customers with accurate pricing, inventory, and specific delivery information
Build and Maintain relationships with new and existing customers by phone or email with the intention of cultivating additional business
Prepare quotations and process orders on behalf of staff
Respond to customers’ request and inquiries in a timely manner
Adhere to company safety policies and regulations
All Other Duties as Assigned

The Ideal Candidate:

Class 5 driver’s license, reliable transportation
Good oral and written communication skills
General computer skills including Microsoft Office required
Highly organized in prioritizing work and multi-tasking on a regular basis
Previous Inside Sales related industrial (Industrial Products) experience is preferred
Must be a team player

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift
Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

Sydney, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

vendor management: 1 year (preferred)
Accounts payable: 1 year (preferred)
