Job Summary:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Monitors overdue accounts; negotiates collection arrangements on overdue accounts.
Reviews lists for delinquent accounts and prepares routine follow-up letters
Maintains data input and updates on Syacc e.g. cash application, adjustments.
Maintains Cash receipts documents, filing.
Prepares account statements, reports, and other records e.g. accounts receivable, Process monthly billing for Resin Scrap.
Processes any other customer debit/credit requests given by customer service.
Prepares proforma invoices for any international prepay customers.
Coordinates customer requests for certificates of Insurances.
Aging reports & A/R reconciliation done at month-end.
Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

1 year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of general accounting systems with specialized training in credit and collections, revenue cycles
Must be computer literate, using standard word processing database and spread sheet applications

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, journals or technical procedures.
Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, and customers.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.6.2 Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
