Monday to Thursday (9-4) and Friday (9-1) approximately 32 hrs. a week

Invoice/Accounts Receivable Clerk required immediately for a fast paced well established construction company in Huntsville, Ontario.

Your Role:
An Invoice Clerk’s main responsibility is to create accurate invoices, send them out, and ensure the company receives payment in a timely manner. Additionally, they have duties and responsibilities including:

Responsibilities:

Ensure every invoice sent out is accurate
Resolve billing errors
Prepare account statements for customers
Follow up on outstanding
Maintain and update filing system
Assist with other accounting tasks as assigned

Requirements:
Invoice Clerks must be able to guarantee accuracy when preparing and sending out invoices. They should hold prerequisite skills and qualifications including:

Proficiency in using Excel a must
Proficiency in using QuickBooks
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of basic accounting math
Strong attention to detail to keep accurate accounting entries
Solid organizational skills
Great customer service skills to work with various clients
Knowledge of data entry for record keeping
General administrative skills, including managing emails and accounting books
Must be able to work well with our team and work well on their own.
