Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the overall accounting functions of the organization. This position requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable and account reconciliation.

Responsibilities

Process accounts payable transactions and ensure timely payments to vendors.
Process accounts receivable transactions and ensure timely receipts from customers.
Conduct account analysis and reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks Online and BuildOps for data entry and reporting.
Support budgeting activities by providing necessary financial information and insights.
Maintain organized financial documents and records for easy retrieval.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes.
Prepare reports as needed for management review.

Experience

Previous experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role is preferred.
Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks Online, is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivables processes.
Experience with account analysis and account reconciliation is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
