Job Overview
Four Points Construction Inc, is a premier custom home builder with fifty employees and as a controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial reporting in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (ASPE) and reporting to the general manager.

Duties

Responsible for all general ledger accounts for all related corporations.
Monthly reconciliations for significant accounts
Ensuring timely and accurate government remittances
Approval of payroll
Preparation of annual and monthly budgets ,
Each month preparation of monthly financial statements ( balance sheet and income statement)
Monthly report of “actual” against budget – updating budget.
Providing management with its key performance indicators each Friday.
Ensuring the accuracy of customer invoices and related back up support.
Responsible for performance of accounting support staff.
Preparing year end

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Full proficiency in English
Microsoft Office and Outlook
Excel expertise
Solid analytical skills
Willingness to learn new processes with a growing company

Experience

5+ years of work experience in a construction or in a job work in process environment
Full knowledge of QuickBooks Pro functions.

Education

Post 4 year finance\accounting program
CPA designation or leading to accreditation.
