Our firm is seeking a motivated Accounts Payable Clerk to help us with our large, daily workload. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain effective management of invoices and will be responsible for preparing checks for all payments. The ideal candidate has the ability to multi-task, maintain confidentiality and work well under pressure, and is able to create an organized filing system for invoices that meets our needs as a growing company.

Responsibilities:

· Perform full cycle Accounts Payable in Jonas Construction Software which includes data entry, printing cheques, G/L postings

· Ensure invoices are matched and coded with purchase orders and packing slips and prepared for management review

· Other clerical duties as assigned including filing, photocopying, opening up the mail etc.

· Answering the phones and greeting guests

· Review, track and process payment for subcontractor invoices and holdbacks

Qualifications Required:

· Construction industry experience would be beneficial but not mandatory

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as PDF programs

· Strong attention to detail ensuring high level of accuracy, being able to multi-task and handle the pressure during the busy construction season

· Be proactive, Initiative and be a self-starter

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $47,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
