What will you be doing?

Successful Senior Accountants who join our practice are analytical and procedural in their day-to-day activities. They are dependable, and the company trusts their ability to prepare and analyze all financial documents. Duties and responsibilities of a Senior Accountant may include:

Preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS or US GAAP for clients in a variety of businesses and industries.
Effectively communicate within our team, with clients, and relevant government agencies.
Build positive working relationships with clients and other members of the team and respond to requests and suggestions.
Full cycle accounting for clients including payroll, HST and all relevant accounting task
Preparation of corporate and personal tax returns and other relevant information returns.
Complete additional projects or related duties as required.
Knowledge of taxprep, caseware and full cycle audit would be preferred

What are we looking for?

A University degree in a relevant field.
You have completed or are currently working towards your CPA designation.
A minimum of three (3) years of public accounting experience including the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Exceptional client service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team environment.
Excellent computer skills, with experience using CaseWare, Taxprep and MS Office (including Excel and Word).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
