As Payroll Administrator, a typical day might include the following:

Responsible for accurate, timely processing of bi-weekly payroll for salaried and hourly employees
Manage all employee payroll inquiries
Monthly bonus/commission processing
Processing and filing T4, T4A, T5, T5018 and other year-end payroll documents
Balance respective payrolls based on year-end calendar
Remit all Third-Party Remittances by defined due dates
Manage all garnishment orders, EI claims, and government correspondence
Prepare/issue ROEs as required
Coordinates timely and accurate enrollment and updates in benefit plans
Assist with the new hire onboarding process
Accounts Receivables
Bank Reconciliations
Create and implement insightful accounting strategies
Provide support to the accounting team on various duties as required
Other duties as assigned

This job might be right for you if:

A minimum of three years of related experience
Familiar with CDK and ADP Workforce software
Previous experience in the automotive dealership environment
Post-secondary education with a focus on Accounting/Payroll
Great knowledge of ESA standards
CPA certification is an asset
Exceptional time management and organizational skills
High level of skill with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Ability to work independently, resolve problems and prioritize duties.
Strong written and oral interpersonal and communication skills.
