We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing all aspects of accounts receivable duties in an efficient and accurate manner by performing the following duties:

Summary of Responsibilities

- Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
- Use software to send invoices and payment reminders electronically
- Monitor, investigate and resolve any discrepancies or irregularities in invoices and payments
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Reminding customers about upcoming payments or past-due accounts
- Keeping accurate records of payments that they receive from customers
- Creating reports for supervisors and providing digital or paper copies of records when requested
- Assist with month-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Diploma/Degree in Accounting
- Strong communication skills – excellent English in order to communicate with all levels of management and across various divisions and with multiple customers and vendors
- Knowledge in data entry, bookkeeping and other financial software
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, organization and accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Knowledge and understanding of how banking and finance systems work
- Knowledge and expertise in using payment processing systems
- Flexibility and willingness to perform a variety of support tasks
