We are seeking a Bookkeeper with at least 2 years of experience to join our growing team. This position will report to our Toronto office at 360 Bay Street, Unit 600.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Reconcile bank statements, monitor cash flow, and ensure accuracy in financial data entry.
Prepare and generate detailed financial reports, summaries, and spreadsheets using advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.).
Process payroll and ensure timely, accurate payments.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Track and manage overdue accounts, issuing reminders and assisting with collections.
Work closely with the accounting team to assist in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets for budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking.
Provide support for external audits and liaise with auditors as needed.
Maintain and organize digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
GST/HST Filling.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper (minimum of 2 years preferred).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.).
Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles and practices.
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite.).
Ability to work with large sets of financial data and perform in-depth analysis using Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive financial information with discretion.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
