Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and providing insightful financial analysis. This position requires a strong understanding of bookkeeping practices and proficiency in accounting software.

Responsibilities

Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accuracy in employee compensation.
Prepare budgets and forecasts to assist in financial planning and decision-making.
Utilize accounting software primarily; Quickbooks for efficient record-keeping and reporting.
Generate financial reports for management review, highlighting key metrics and trends.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support business operations.
Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.

Requirements

Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software, Quickbooks as well as excell; familiarity with other platforms is a plus.
Strong skills in bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, budgeting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members across various departments.
A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not mandatory based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57,510.00-$60,617.00 per year
