Job Overview
As a Bookkeeper, you will provide our clients with their unique bookkeeping requirements by providing superior bookkeeping and accounting services. With your in-depth understanding of QBO and financial spreadsheets, you will play a crucial role in achieving our client’s personal financial objectives.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to clients by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to bookkeeping.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Perform bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
Prepare budgets.
Generate financial reports and statements for management review.
Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting principles and company policies.
Utilize mathematical skills to analyze and interpret financial data.
Prepare personal T1 returns
Issue T4s
Prepare T2 returns (ideal)

Experience

The ideal candidate must be highly personable, a certified bookkeeper with at least five years’ experience and be QuickBooks Online certified with the following attributes:

Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices in Canada.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Must excel in customer service.
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to execute.

This position will start with 10hr/week working it's way up to a full case load and full time work within 3 months.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
