Job Responsibilities:

Maintain and manage financial records for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

Prepare and reconcile bank statements, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for clients.

Manage payroll for clients, including tax calculations and compliance with regulations.

Support clients with bookkeeping inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.

Collaborate with CPA staff for audit preparation and tax compliance.

Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a CPA firm or accounting environment.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.

Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting principles and tax regulations.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
