We are seeking a mature and decisive Accounts Receivable Specialist for our Surrey Newton, BC office. If you are looking for a role that requires strong leadership, diplomacy, and the ability to make tough decisions, we invite you to explore this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accounts within approved terms and conduct timely collections to mitigate risks.
Review aged accounts to recommend actions that enhance collectability and reduce exposure.
Provide efficient customer service to resolve disputes and inquiries, collaborating with internal departments as necessary.
Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely invoice payments and serving as a key contact for customers.
Analyze credit information for new applications and evaluate paying habits of delinquent accounts.
Recommend credit limit changes or account closures based on comprehensive evaluations.
Reconcile accounts for short payments and prepare collection reports to assist management with cash forecasting.
Collaborate with other credit and administration staff to optimize departmental performance.
Prepare files for Builder’s Lien procedures and represent the company in court proceedings.
Ensure all legal aspects are addressed, safeguarding the company’s interests.
Undertake additional projects and tasks as directed by management.

Skills & Qualifications:

Significant experience in credit analysis.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Strong background in collections, demonstrating assertiveness and sound judgment.

What We Offer:

Competitive salary range: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year, with additional pay opportunities including bonuses and overtime.

Full-time, permanent position with a Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift schedule.
