Role and Responsibilities

• Direct interaction with senior level management and clients.

• Full cycle accounting for several entities.

• Prepare and complete month end close assignments. This includes, but is not limited to accruals, inter-company transactions, fixed asset schedules, depreciation, and reconciliations.

• Perform daily accounting operations to maintain accounts in accordance with IFRS and or US GAAP.

• Timely and accurate completion of financial statements. This responsibility will include preparation of consolidation and elimination entries, balance sheet, income statement, equity roll and related supporting schedules and disclosures.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Candidates with a degree in accounting and currently enrolled in the CPA program will be considered.

• Proven track record with a minimum of 3 years of related experience in accounting operations.

• Minimum 3 years experience of using an accounting software, QuickBooks is preferable.

• Intermediate to advanced level of understanding and experience with Excel.

Work Environment

This position is performed in a professional workplace. As a growing company we work in an environment where our projects and responsibilities are constantly expanding and evolving. The ideal candidate must be able to adapt to these changes quickly and with a high level of professionalism. We are looking to individuals who are self motivated and be positive contributors in a team environment. Our Accounting team currently has a hybrid work schedule, though some team members choose to come into the office daily.

Compensation

• Base salary range of $60,000-$80,000, annually, depending on experience.

• Eligibility in the firm’s bonus program for full-time employees.
