As our Accounting Clerk you will be responsible for providing accounting and clerical support to the accounting team for the m5 Group of Companies. Qualifications:

Diploma in Accounting or Finance.
1-2 years’ experience in an accounting environment, a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must.
Team player with a positive attitude and professional demeanour
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial record keeping
Understanding accounting system of job, estimate, and PO’s
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
High level of self-motivation
Ability to demonstrate strong problem solving skills.
Working knowledge in Microsoft Office
Experience using accounting software a plus.
Integrity and confidentiality are essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide accounting and administrative support to the accounting department including:
Issuing purchase orders for the media department.
Enter supplier invoices into accounting system daily.
Review, check and code invoices and match with purchase orders.
Supporting media information with detailed notes, spreadsheets and paperwork for CRA compliance.
Filing media invoices and related paperwork.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Organize visa’s, invoices and backup to support CRA compliance and accounting standards.
