49 North Helicopters is a helicopter company with our office located in Campbell River BC. We have been in business for 17 years. We are looking to add a full-cycle bookkeeper to our team. The ideal candidate is willing to learn, and has advanced knowledge of Quickbooks Online.

This position will require the following:

- Reconciling accounts

- Prepare semi-month payroll

- Posting account payabale and receivable

- Reconcile corporate credit cards

- Remit GST and payroll deductions

- Remit quarterly Worksafe BC & Employer Health Tax premiums

- Prepare year end financial reports and T4's

- Accounts receivable follow-ups

- Develop and present monthly accounting report to partners

- Other acounting and bookkeeping duties and responsabilities as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements and Qualifications

- 5+ years experience bookkeeping

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Organizational and time management skills

- Exceptional attention to detail and pride in a high standard of work

- Ability to communicate effectively in a professional and courteous manner

- QBO : 2 years (required)

Considered an asset :

- Strong knowledge in Excel

- Previous aviation experience an assett
