*Job Summary*

We are seeking a detail-oriented junior accountant to join our team on beautiful Manitouin Island.

*Duties*

- Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks.

- Perform account reconciliations and account analysis

- Prepare payroll and file all required government reportings

- File all required GST/HST remittances

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable

- Assist with budgeting and financial reporting

- Utilize clerical skills to organize and maintain financial documents

- Prepare personal and corporate income tax returns

- Assist with the preparation of financial statements

*Experience*

- Proven experience as a Junior Accountant

- Proficiency in accounting softwares such as QuickBooks, Excel, Profile etc

- Strong understanding of accounting principles

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently
