About the Opportunity

This is an Accounts Payable Specialist position within a busy Accounting Department. This is a hybrid position with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.

Here’s what you’ll need to do:

· Full cycle AP: process invoices, review for accuracy, match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents within AP Automation platform (Traild) as well as weekly payment runs.

· Reconcile and post credit card expense reports

· Manage and reconcile petty cash

· Reconcile vendor accounts

· Assist with month-end close and year-end audit process.

Assist with ad-hoc accounting duties and special projects as requested

About You:

For primary consideration, you should bring:

· Education and solid understanding of Accounting, combined with a minimum of 3 years’

experience in Accounts Payable or Accounting

· Exceptional attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills

· Positive, proactive, solution oriented, and ability to adapt to change

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office

· Ability to adhere to strict deadlines

· A drive for continuous improvement, working with others to enhance processes and internal resources

· Ability to deal discretely with confidential data.

· Committed to doing everything within your role to meet or exceed our internal client and vendor expectations

· Excellent communication skills, and ability to roll up sleeves where needed.

· Experience with an ERP system (Syspro) is an asset.
