What You’ll Do

The 5th business Group of Agencies is looking for an individual to join our team as a bookkeeper in the Mississauga – Pearson Airport area. The successful candidate should possess excellent bookkeeping, communication, organization, and office skills. The successful candidate must be able to undertake all bookkeeping activities, work independently and be flexible with hours, responsibilities, and duties.

How You’ll Do It

Billing
AR/AP/payroll
Reconcile credit cards, bank accounts and loan accounts
Post journal entries
Month end, quarter end and year end reports
Statements and Job profit reports
Prepare HST returns
Maintain an orderly filing system for financial records
General office administrative tasks and supportive duties

What You’ll Need

Accounting diploma or degree
5-10 years of experience in bookkeeping
Excellent written and oral English skills
Strong computer skills (accounting software, Excel)
Strong attention to detail, organized
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure while meeting tight deadlines and work autonomously

Schedule

24 hours per week (flexible)

Opportunity for more hours – dictated by workload/projects

This is a hybrid role: you are expected to work 2 days per week in the office or on an as-need basis, and one day per week from home.
