Company Overview: Empire Oilfield Solutions Inc. is a dynamic and growing service support company based in Alberta. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our dedicated finance team.

Position Overview: The Accounts Receivable Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial transactions by accurately managing invoices, processing payments, and resolving discrepancies. This position requires a diligent individual who is adept at maintaining financial records and communicating effectively with both internal teams and external clients.

Responsibilities:

Generate and send out invoices to customers accurately and in a timely manner.
Follow up on outstanding payments and monitor accounts to ensure timely collection.
Support in the internal ticketing program between Operations and Customers
Maintain accounts receivable files and records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Assist in preparing reports detailing accounts receivable status and collection efforts.
Assist in month-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable.
Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to resolve billing and customer credit issues.
Provide exceptional customer service in responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline accounts receivable procedures.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar role.
Proficiency in Sage and MS Office (especially Excel) preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial regulations.
Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
