Currently seeking a bookkeeper with an excellent track record of long-term clients, who is looking to add another client to their client portfolio. Requesting 2-4 hours per week and 15-20 hours at year-end, with flexibility in hour requirements. This individual is exceptionally well organized and has prior bookkeeping experience. Interested in someone who will help elevate and improve current processes and procedures in place.

Responsibilities:

Ability to map out processes with accountant for month and year-end.
Responsible for keeping organized and maintaining checklists.
Responsible for saving and filing various financials, investment statements, invoices etc.
Ability to organize and process invoices and tax reports.
Fact-checking accounting information.
Record all necessary transactions.
Balancing subsidiary accounts to reconcile accounts.
Ensuring all financial actions comply with local legal requirements.
Preparing financial reports by analyzing, collecting, and condensing account trends and information.
Using system in place to account for financial transactions made.

Qualifications:

Experience with QBO, Dext, OneNote, OneDrive is required.
Real estate investments and private company investments is an asset.
Experience tracking a Personal Health Spending Program (PHSP).
Typing speed 50 WPM+ is an asset.
Highly organized, list and processes driven.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Own office space as this position is remote.
