Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee daily administrative operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance within the office environment.

This position is a part-time and fully remote position for candidates available to start immediately. Full-time transition may be available.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Monitor general company inbox for client inquiries as well as general client communication- Assist with drafting of office documents and invoices with template files and training provided- Assist with finalization of client deliverables- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires- Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and events
Assist with process documentation, as deemed necessary- Perform basic bookkeeping activities
Other ad-hoc tasks on as-requested basis

Requirements:

Proficiency in Google Suite or MS Office (Excel, Word and Powerpoint - or the equivalent of in Google Suite)
Proficiency with PDF reader and editor
Proven work experience as an Office Administrator, Office Assistant, or similar role
Professional attitude and demeanor suitable for a professional office environment
Excellent attitude with willingness to learn- Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures- Attention to detail and multi-tasking skills- High school diploma; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus
Knowledge with tax return and accounting software such as TaxCycle and Quickbooks is a plus
Knowledge with electronic signature platforms such as Verifyle is a plus
Experience in working with accounting firms is a plus
Criminal check records will be requested for the successful candidate

Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Freelance

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 35 per week
