Contractor required for flexible and remote part-time bookkeeping support

This role will be accountable for bookkeeping support including client invoicing, ad hoc reporting and maintaining accurate financial records on QuickBooks Online under direction of the Bookkeeping Lead. The role will be responsible for recording financial transactions ensuring a high level of accuracy and detail. The position is remote contract work 5-10 hours per week with the potential of additional work in the future.

What you bring:

Degree, diploma or certificate in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
>5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and consistency.
Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Adobe, Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
Experience with Applications such as: Outlook and other Microsoft applications.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and full cycle month-end close processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
