Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Associate to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation of financial reports, perform various accounting tasks, and support the overall financial health of the organization. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

What you will do in this role:

Daily Accounting Activities: Perform daily accounting tasks including reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger updates.
Accounts Payable: Manage relationships with Vendors, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records, and ensure timely payments.
Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Expense Tracking: Monitor and track company expenses, ensuring all expenditures are recorded and categorized correctly.
Compliance & Auditing: Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
Data Entry: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring data integrity and completeness.
Support Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing relevant financial analysis and insights.

Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager.

Your qualifications include:

Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 18 months of relevant accounting experience preferred.
Experience with accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Business Central, SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
