Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be proficient in various accounting software programs such as QuickBooks. Work from office in Port Hope, Ontario

Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers

- Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis

- Process accounts payable and receivable

- Conduct account reconciliations

- Submit License Reports for Sony Pictures, NHL, CFL

- Utilize accounting software to manage financial data

- Assist with financial reporting and budget preparation

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role

- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks is a MUST!

- Strong understanding of bank reconciliation, account analysis, and account reconciliation processes

- Knowledge of accounts payable procedures

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Preferred Skills:

- Experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk would be advantageous
